Precious Prefect
A second bomb has targeted Aïssa Dermouche, the newly appointed Prefect of the Jura. A man of Algerian origins, his appointment, for that reason apparently, has caused quite a stir. First they blew up his car and now they go for the Ecole Supérieur de Commerces de Nantes of which he was hitherto the boss. Who is behind this? One instantly thinks of the Front National but I don't know what to believe.
One thing is for sure. He is being targeted because he is an Arab.

Morning in Paris
I'm working mega hours at the moment. The only time I have to myself is about five minutes in the café every morning. This is one of those pics one takes when one is half awake (they were often the best.)

Oh dear
An Egyptian airliner crashed into the red sea. Of the 148 dead, 135 wereFrench.
I hope to be going to Egypt when the shoot is over.

Secure my ass
There are a lot of flights being cancelled at th4e moment. I'm glad I didn't book any tickets. Xmas is a bad time to travel anyway.
Things have not been made any better by our friends at the Federal bureau of investigation. Some of their "suspects" on passenger lists are a little odd. One of them, apparently, is a child.
Happy New Year by the way. I'm still on this shoot until at least the end of January. Given the hours that I am working (88 in the week just before Xmas) I doubt I'll be posting much.
